Dear Members,
This year has been a journey. Many of our WCR family have struggled with
illness, accidents, loss of income, loss of home, loss of job, or they have left the
industry. It is easy to feel discouraged and depressed when these things happen.
Often we feel like failures when we haven’t lived up to our own expectations.
Just remember, there are many ways to define success!
It has been an honor and privilege to have served as your president this year.
Whenever any help was needed, you, the members were there to help. Tom
Turner, Ann Gilbertson, Lindsey Turner, Kris Link, Mary Sorensen and
Arcelia Loera were the greatest board any one could ask to have. They always
had you, the members, in mind when decisions were made that affected
our chapter. Thank you to each of them.
Congratulations to the 2010 Board: Tom Turner, Merilee Restucci, Christy
DeVinespre, Lindsey Turner, Glenda Dilly and Melissa Drollinger. I know
that the chapter is in great hands for the coming year.
Also, congratulations to Julie Sundquist as our Member of the Year and to
Deborah Byron-Leffler as our Entrepreneur of the Year. Both
women are very deserving of their awards.
Our next meeting is our Ornament Exchange. It is always fun!
Be sure and bring an ornament to exchange.
